ACUPUNCTURE THERAPY

Acupuncture needle insertion addresses a wide range of physical and mental health conditions. Acupuncture needle insertion uses thin sterile, single-use stainless steel needles to stimulate specific points on the body.  Despite their fine size, acupuncture needles are designed to be durable and flexible, so they can be inserted with minimal discomfort.   Needles are often not felt at all or cause a mild, brief sensation of tingling, of warmth, or of pressure.  The needles may be retained anywhere from a few minutes to an hour.  A typical response is a feeling of deep relaxation.

MOXIBUSTION THERAPY

Moxibustion is a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) therapy that involves burning dried mugwort (moxa) or artemisia near the skin to stimulate acupuncture points. This gentle heat treatment promotes circulation, warms the body, relieves pain, and supports immune function. Commonly used alongside acupuncture, moxibustion helps balance the body's Qi, expel cold, and enhance overall well-being. Moxibustion typically  produces both feelings of warmth and deep relaxation.

CUPPING THERAPY

Cupping is a traditional therapy used in Chinese medicine (TCM) that involves placing specially designed cups on the skin to create suction.   Cupping is a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) therapy that stimulates circulation. It is commonly used to relieve muscle soreness, reduce swelling, and draw out toxins from the skin. Cupping promotes overall well-being and may help alleviate fatigue, and support immune function. A typical session lasts 10 to 15 minutes and is often followed by acupuncture.
